Ambrose Marine Construction recently participated in the 2015 Lake Congress hosted by the NH Lakes Association, a group “dedicated to protecting New Hampshire lakes and their watersheds through education and advocacy.” It was great to spend a day with businesses, associations and individuals who share our goal and desire to see the unmatched beauty and cleanliness of our lakes remain for generations to come. At the same time, all the participants to whom we conversed are equally committed to ensuring that our state’s waters also provide the recreational outlet and economic support on which we all rely and enjoy. To be sure, there is always going to be a fine line between how to best protect our resources while not stifling the rights of citizens, property owners and businesses. It is encouraging to see pragmatism as the ruling force in how we approach this issue and Ambrose Marine looks forward to being part of the continued efforts.
