Summer 2014

Not a particularly hot summer, but we were blessed with many long sunny days after a cold and brutal winter.  At Ambrose Marine Construction we were busy for many months rebuilding docks and breakwaters that were destroyed by the shifting ice during early Spring.  It was good work to keep the crew busy, but it also forced us to move our schedule around on bigger projects that were planned a year in advance.  As always we really appreciate the patience from our loyal and new customers.  We take great pride in being honest and upfront about when the project will commence and making sure there is cost certainty.  The real busy season starts now though as we move into the colorful autumn months.  Our crew and barges will be bustling around the lake removing seasonal docks and completing major projects before the ice sets in again.

Speaking of our barges, Ambrose Marine is close to announcing a new vessel on Lake Winnipesaukee.  In the next month or so we will be launching a brand new member to our family of barges and we are excited about how it will improve our overall efficiency.  Our goal is to have this barge be a friendly cousin to the recognizable icons on the lake like the Mount Washington, Sophie C., Doris E. and The Bear.

Thanks everyone for a great summer season on the lake!
