It has been another long and grueling winter here up on Lake Winnipesaukee, but that's how we like it. The weather did not stop our crew from working during the cold, short days repairing the docking system at Quayside Yacht Club in Moultonborough. Now the calendar officially says its spring and we are putting together our "ice out" schedule which includes new dock projects, a boathouse, perched beaches, and of course all our seasonal dock installs. Our community should also be mindful of some pending damage to existing docks that may occur over the next month as the ice lets out. Similar to last year (2014) the cold temperatures and heavy ice caused a record amount of ice damage across the lake. Ambrose Marine is expecting a similar scenario this year so be sure to contact us immediately if you feel your dock and or shoreline was effected by moving ice.
We also have a big announcement for this working season. In the coming months, Ambrose Marine Construction will launch a new 60' barge that will transport our Caterpillar excavator. More information and pictures will follow after the launch date.
